Elle est entraînée par Rhonda Harper, la fondatrice de Black Girls Surf (BGS) qu’elle rencontre à son arrivée en Californie en 2018, sans argent, ne parlant pas anglais et une technique de surf non adaptée à la structure des compétitions. Or, Rhonda Harper recherchait des surfeuses en Afrique trop peu représentées dans le surf professionnel. Depuis, elles ne se quittent plus.
